I am from Illinois. Am I better off to do court supervision? If so, how do I do that. There were no instructions for that on my ticket.

  1. A speeding ticket will not be permanent, and will not cause any long term problems. It is considered a minor infraction, and most people get one sooner or later.

Your court may offer a diversion program such as traffic school, but you have to appear and ask.
