Question:

What process does a monroe piercing go through to heal?

I got my monroe pierced about 3 weeks ago, and I'm not sure if it is infected or just doing the normal healing process. It is red around the outside of the piercing and yellow-looking discharge comes out of it. I have to clean the dry hard stuff off it every day. Im sorry if this sounds gross ): anyone else have there monroe pierced and know whats up? should i go get it checked??

  1. No this is fine. The redness is from moving it in and out, try to limit it and dont play with it.

The crusties are lmyph dried and you should use a q-tip and antibacerical soap/warm water to clean it off.

Then you should soak/ or spray, soak is better and more effective to the piercing, with a sea salt solution or soak.

It should go down within a week.

If it is sore, puffy, discharge is a greenish and smells go get it checked out.
