    the process is named Phagocytosis and it could be realized by macrophage or dendritic cells who are commonly named phagocytes. The bacteria is "digested" and a part of it (the antigen) could be presented at the cell surface with HLA for recognition by T lymphocytes.

  3. Phagocytes eat that bacteria. white blood cells produce theses phagocytes, resulting in pus, the disgusting white **** that comes out of infected areas ;)
