What product works the best to remove odors?

Febreze,Glade, candles,oils, sprays what will remove the smell of the old people who use to live here? I bought the house and it smells like dog urine and smoke! Any Ideas?

Really all those sprays do is mask the odor for awhile.  Besides, read the warning statements before you use.

I prefer unscented activated carbon that actually absorbs odors.  I read about a product called FRIDGE IT that I started to use for fridge and then now I actually use these little purple cubes just about everywhere around the house.  You may want to try placing some of these around your house to cleanly eliminate odors.    Can buy at kitchen gadget stores I think and also www.innofresh.com on line.

well if it smells like smoke you have to remove the carpet and repaint the walls i promise smoke smell does not come out it sucks but you have to do it

A carpet shampoo, Prosolve and Oxyclean are good for getting out stains and odors, as well as Febreez

If the floors are carpeted, PULL IT UP AND THROW IT OUT! tThen scrub the floors with bleach and water.Wash the walls, windows and throw out all their furniture.

eucalyptus oil . it disinfects aswell!!!

1st.  Shampoo the carpet 3 times

2nd.  Sprinkle carpet freshener on the floor then vacuum it.  (Repeat twice)

3rd.  light 3 incense at the same time till burned out.

4th.  Leave windows open for a few hours to get rid off the stuffiness.

5th. VIOLA......you have FRESHNESS
