What products are good to make my makeup last all day?

Hi! I have oily skin and when I put on foundation, powder, and blush, it disappears by the end of the day and looks like I don't even have any makeup on. Should I purchase a foundation primer or a makeup setting mist or both? Which products can you recomend?

I would try a primer for sure, there are oil T-zone gels that are great for making your face look more matte. Here are two brands that I have tried, both are really good ...but if you want a more inexpensive brand, you can shop around.

Arbonne has a great product, it's called the Personalizer. it's a green compact that you can put over your makeup throughout the day to deminish the oiliness and preserve your makeup, or you can put it under your makeup if you have really bad oily skin. with continued use it even helps your skin to be less oily.

the reason you have oily skin may be because of the makeup you use. if you use a makeup with mineral oil in it that puts a barrier on your face and won't allow your skin to breathe. in order for your face to cleanse its self it secreets oils to try to get rid of the dirt on your face. Arbonne's products do not contain mineral oils and promote healthy skin that breathes. they are all natural and actually benefit your skin while you're wearing them!

you need to put non oily moisturizer  beneath your makeup.

i use MAC's 'prep + prime' primer and my makeup stays put until i take it off at night.  MAC makes great makeup and it generally stays put, but i've found that using the primer prolongs the staying power

i would choose a non-oily lotion to put on beneath your makeup because lotion make your makeup last longer. Make sure it dries before you apply makeup though!
