nowadays, the big manufacturers setup new manugacturing plants in countries where labor is cheap ... then they import the more important components ... after assembly, the finished products are then exported or sold in other countries ... sometimes, though, they conduct 'local sales promo' wherein they sell their finished products to the locals at a discounted price ...
