I have wavy, medium length hair that isn't super dry but isn't super moist and "lush" either. I would like my hair to be straight. I bought some Herbal Essences "dangerously straight" shampoo and conditioner last night. It sort of worked. What do people who have hair like mine use and what are your results?

  2. I use a hair straightener, and if you're worried about damage I believe you can get some protective spray to put on it before you straighten for relatively cheap... and you can get a hair straightener for as little as ten bucks at drugstores like CVS and such.

I never found any straightening shampoos that helped my hair be all that straight so I can't recommend any of those for you, I'm sorry.

Oh, you could also try to blow-dry it straight if you don't want to use a straightener but I've never quite been able to really figure out how to get that to work for me but I'm sure there are tutorials and stuff for that all over the internet if that's what you want to do.

  3. You should get a straighting iron,my hair is wavy and a straightning iron will get it straight. Keep using the shampoo and it will be easier to fix.To make your hair moist and shiny try finding a product that adds shine and that healthy look to it like a shine serum but dont put too much or it will make your hair oily, and avoid your roots.I hope this helped!
