  1. in school it was be a speech therapist, and educational pysoligist, they would also support the family.  Ask to make an appointment in school to see the sENCO

  2. Social Worker

    Speech Therapist

    Teacher

  3. Look up commission for handicap children.  I'm not suggesting your child is handicap but this facility does hearing screenings for children and they are very supportive and want parents to be involved in care.  Hope this helps you.

  4. If your child has a hearing problem you should get the services of a range of people: first at the hospital, audiologist, technicians, consultant. You should have a teracher of the deaf who can give you advice and maybe there's a specialist social worker for the deaf in your area (not everyone has these) who can advise you on benefits etc. some Local Authorities have parent befrienders and all of them have Parent Partnership schemes, they can help especially with decisions about school, but one of the best places to go for advice is the NDCS National Deaf Children's Society, their advice is free and wide ranging and they're just there to support deaf children and their families.  Good luck

  5. My son is hearing impaired and he works with a speech therapist, and ENT, and is in a special hearing impaired room at his school.

  6. Contact the National Deaf Children Society(assuming your in UK) they will be able to give you loads of advice!

  7. Special needs co-ordinator, speech therapist, Ent dept. Teacher, could need a teacher of sign language.
