  1. If you are using Windows Vista and they do not use an Administrator's account, you can use the Parental Controls functions to see which programs they use, what sites they visit, etc.

You can also use it to block certain programs, or block file downloads, lock that account for certain times of the day...

If you're not sure how the use the Parental Controls, the Help and Support (accesible from your start menu) section has much information on it.

  2. The latest, "CA Internet Security Suite Plus 2008", comes with Parental Controls, with which you can selectively block, or allow, specific Web-sites---and I think for specific users.  I noticed that it can send  (or, record?) a warning when a user has tried to open a blocked Web-site...

(Run a web-search for the "name" above, minus the "s.)

  3. i don't know of any programs but there are ways without using a program. If you want to see who they've been talking to and what about go to 'My Chat Logs' in your documents. All conversations are saved here and if you want to see what sites they've been on it is automatically saved on history of visited sites. If you did want to check their accounts to see what is on them, though i would not advise it, usually it is automatically logged in and will take you straight to their page.

sorry, i don't know of any programs but i hope this helps.

  4. Try searching for "Keyloggers", there are some keyloggers that are free and does not just record keystrokes, but also the sites visited, chat history, applications opened, screenshots, etc. Some are cheap and has many features. Just make sure that you don't misuse this software.

Or maybe you can just place your computer in a place where it can easily be seen, so your child will not be tempted to visit some bad sites. Just a suggestion.

  5. Its not your children you are wanting to spy on its your misses!!!

Pretty sad really considering she has put up with you on chat lines for 8 years.

She has stuck by you through thick & thin, She must be feeling pretty worthless to start keeping things from you after all the time you were together

  6. you shouldnt go through there things,

its privacy, you wouldnt like it.

i think you should have enough trust in them..

some people use the internet to ask questions and things that could be personal or anything.

you should try to be a bit more trusting in them.

that would be nice, not to invade there privacy.

  7. Just use the history of your browser.

If you use Internet Explorer, click "favorites", and then you'll see a clock or something, click that, and you see every visited site.

  8. you do not have to use any programs just check youre history on youre browser if its a newer computer go into view up the top older computer go to favourites then history can i have best awnser please
