What program can u use to take sound out of a video so you can put just music on it?

i have a lot of footage of street scenes of shanghai. i like them but the street noise is really annoying and i want to put music on instead. i have some chinese pop music and i know how to do that with windows movie maker. i also have avs

My suggestion is to use Windows Movie Maker. You simply right click on the audio track for your video and mute it. Then add the music to the secondary audio track. That way you only get the audio from your music and none of the audio that was recorded by your camera.
