What program do you run sims 2 downloads on?

I have sims 2 and I want to download stuff but when I want to it always says what program to you want to run it on an it says Microsoft stuff Internet explorer and some other stuff what should I click on

if you asking how to put custom content in the game:

if it's a .package

(go to my documents) \EA Games\The Sims 2\Downloads (if it's no there create it)

and just paste them in there.

if it's a .sims2pack

use the PackageInstaller.exe in the \CSBin folder in the main game folder
