What program should I use? Windows Movie Maker or Adobe Premiere CS3?

I have to make a slideshow for my friend's party. The party is soon. Which program would be better to use? And if you know how to "finish" the final product so that it's on a cd or something? And any other tips involving these programs.

Because the party is soon, go with movie maker -   it has a very short learning curve and when done, you can use WMM to burn the show to disk.
