  1. Photoshop....

  2. Perhaps this is the LAST time I will try to point out that "photoshop" is not a verb.

But, I will attempt to answer that the best tool in which to "do" photoshopping IS PHOTOSHOP.

As far as the Rosie thing, I suggest holy water and a lot of praying.

  3. Depends exactly what you want to do and how much you want to spend.

Photoshop is the cream of the crop.

    then there is

ps elements or Paint shop Pro.

There are also free/shareware programmes around such as the Gimp.

try Gimp first to see how you get on. http://www.gimp.org/

  4. Photoshop is the industry standard and has all the tools, but has a learning curve like a brick wall, as well as being expensive.

Elements is a good entry level starter, a lot of the things you'll learn in Elements can be directly applied to Photoshop, but there's a whole host of things which can't..

    Chris

  5. Depending on your budget I would recommend PHotoshop Elements and then move to the full blown Photoshop.

If you have the money for the big boy, then purchase Adobe Photoshop or download the trial to see the difference between both.

I use Photoshop CS2 and it's a wonderful tool (plus lots of plug ins as well)

    Good luck!
