What program will allow me to edit pics i.e. inserting items into pics and switching heads?

and better example, say I wanted to take my image and place into a downloaded web pic, or take my face in an image and place on the body of a celebrity? Any help would be appreciated!!!

Adobe fireworks or macromedia both the same but a bit diiferent from each other, its much easier than photo shop plus u can download a 30 day free trial off the internet, try typing into google adobe fireworks 30 day free trial =)
