What programs that run for windows vista home premium should i stop from running to make my computer faster?

my comp is using 32% of 100% of its memory with windows vista and when i look at tabula rasa memory usage its at about 1200 1300 memory usage and 70% would only leave me 1400. what can i do with windows vista home premium to make it stop using so much memory so i have a lot more for my games? i looked at all the programs running and i dont know wich ones i can disable. please help.

  1. First of all, you can't exactly control how much RAM Vista uses. And around 700MB is normal for Vista. Secondly, Vista knows how to allocate RAM veryy effectively. So when you start a game, Vista will use less RAM so more is available to the game.

    To prove this, start a the task manger and note the percentage of RAM usage. Now, start a game; play it for a while and open the task manager and note the percentage of RAM usage then.
