    Thinking you're better than anyone.

    Over competitive.

    Me me me syndrome.

  3. MOTHERS! Mothers promote habitual selfishness although we definatley don't mean to. We teach our children that only the best is good enough for them.

    MEDIA! We see/read stories about people doing horrible things to eachother and/or taking advantage of others. In turn it makes us not want to help anyone besides ourselves....
