MOTHERS! Mothers promote habitual selfishness although we definatley don't mean to. We teach our children that only the best is good enough for them.

MEDIA! We see/read stories about people doing horrible things to eachother and/or taking advantage of others. In turn it makes us not want to help anyone besides ourselves....
