What promotional products are most effective for a large array of companies?

I am the sales and marketing manager for a promotional product distributor, and I am trying to figure out which items to put on our website.

You are best to start with whatever you traditionally sell the most of (from your own sales figures) as a good start. This will give you a good guide to what your client base likes.

I would also suggest to have a bit of a mix. Firstly items that are always standard popular items - Like pens, caps, mug, polo shirts, keyrings, travel mugs, lanyards, desk accessories. Secondly try to have some more unusual items featured that aren't as "common", these will help to catch people's attention more than just having the same old things everyone else does.

Basically you need to have something that stands out on your website - either better pricing, better range, more unique products, or something else that will give people a reason to buy from you rather than the next website.
