I mean they hunted animals and probably copied how animals, such as lions/tigers, whom ate their catch of the day(deer, etc) raw but what exactly do you think gave the early humans of the caveman days or somewhere along that time the idea of roasting a pig or bison or other animal that they caught over a bonfire? did early humans have a better digestive system and ate meat raw? why didn't the animal-y habits tradition continue? and what prompted them to change their original eating ways? your hypothesis? thanks.

  1. I agree with Rhys C. They probably did it unintentionally. I think I heard it or read is somewhere. There are people who think the same thing too. Well we have to agree that it DOES taste better.... no more stomach ache.

Hey but then think about it. People in the "OLD" days live longer. If you give them our weapons to protect themselves, they would probably easily live to 100. Nowadays humans average lifespan would be around 60-80. Sad but true. I believe its the food we eat.

Nowadays not only that the food we eat is cooked. Its DEEP fried. Most of what we eat have to be fried first. What more all those fast food restraunts. But then again we do not have a choice!!! We really need our food to be fast. Cooked fast and can easily eaten. We live such hectic lives. Even eating we cannot enjoy.

So ... you wanna go back to the old days?

  2. I don't know, but I have wondered that myself.  Let me know if you get an answer that makes sense.  Good luck.

  3. It most likely would have been an accident. When you get hungry you eat just about anything you can chew and swallow. They had fires eventually to keep themselves warmer as it was getting colder, they probably had their meal set on fire, and they ate it anyway, and decided it tasted better.
