What psycology is about??

What pscycology is about? is it more interesting than sociology!? i am asking becasue i am continuing my studies on it.. and i bearly knows about it.. please help. a little detail will help me for the future... thanks to all :)

while sociology is something with society as a whole

I think it's more interesting than sociology, personally...

Psychology is about the effects on the individual's behavoirs (genetic, environmental, hormonal, etc). A lot of it is counter-intuitive. A lot you can apply to things you've seen or done yourself. And it's more scientific than sociology.

Sociology is basically your psychological profile in a group/social environment. Psychology is what's going on in your own head. :]

There is nothing more interesting than the human mind. i am 33 and suffer from many mind illnesses. the only thing is that in all logic fairness no many how many books you read or classes you take full understanding you will never achieve. i took myself off of 8 different pills a day to learn who i am and what it is that makes me tick. you would find most interest in myself and others like me. i was not born sick and in my mind i will not die sick i will learn how to turn my mind on itself and then hopefully help others.      when i figure it all out that is.
