What pubs are still around that were mentioned in James Joyce's The Dubliners?

We're going to Dublin in a week and I'm interested in visiting a couple places that were mentioned in "The Dubliners". Thanks for your help!

  1. A couple of pubs mentioned in  Dubliners  which are still around are 'Mulligans' of Poolbeg Street where O'Halloran, Leonard and Farrington went when the Scotch House had closed.

    "Joyce's Dubliners has mention of Davy Byrnes, but the Joycean character with which the premises is most associated with is Leopold Bloom of Ulysses."

    The 'International' bar in Wicklow Street is probably a pub described in Dubliners. It was owned by a Mr O'Donohue at the time.

    You might like to visit the James Joyce Centre where they arrange walking tours on Saturdays

  2. Also visit the Brazen Head pub it's the oldest pub in ireland and has great music every night!
