What pump can replace an intex pool pump?

we have a 12' x 24' intex easy set pool with a model 635 pump that is worthless.

For an above ground pool,probably a Haward max flo pump would be best......

Any 1/2 horse power pump with a filter ( sand or cartridge) that is sized to work with that pump. Re plumbing is a snap since it's all 1 1/2 inch pipe, an industry standard.

I agree...those all in one Intex solutions are all a little undersized in both pump and filter, but hey...you get what you pay for. If you want a "proper" pump and filter, budget  about 400-500 bucks. Hayward pool products make a number of models of both filter and pump, that would suit that pool fine.

omg, i feel the same way.my pump was no good when i bought the pool lol i bought a regular pump frm wallmarts and it is working great.and my poll is bigger than yours
