  1. We shouldn't judge them so harshly. We don't know their circumstances and sometimes it's best. Don't judge unless you've walked a mile in their shoes!

  2. They should nvr leave their parents.......................coz they r the 1 because of whom they r alive.........................who gave 'em food 2 eat, house 2 live, water 2 drink, education 4 future living(if provided)while their kids  were small,or else some parents bury their kids live,

they should always take care of their parents coz they helped them when they were small

they'll suffer the torments of h**l

  3. And what is wrong with that? Sometimes 24/7 medical care is what is needed.

We had to do this with my grandmother. There was no way we could have given her the proper care at home. She lived very well taken care of for the last 7 years of her life. She would have never made it that long home alone or even with us trying to take care of her. Had we tried to take care of her at home she probably wouldnt have lasted 2 years.

Get a grip, come down to reality.

  4. Well see, that depends.. What punishment did the old helpless parents give the children that made them put them in that old age home?? LOL

  5. A hug

  6. I belive leaving parrents to die in old age home is a wrong thing. The reason is when the parrents get old they have less things to do in life. So they would like to be with there children and grandchildren talk to them and have fun with them playing. I have a grandma who is generally sick all the time. But i love her so much i use to be with her atleast a hour a day. I joke with her and she is use take care of him like any thing and Doctor said to me that since she is happy that is why her health condition are improving. Person health depends on how the feel.. if they are loonly they die fast and if they are happy then they live for long and they dont have regret at the time of dying.

  7. why is it wrong to put our parents in a place where they can have 24 hour care if they need it? I worked in an "old age home" and the staff very much care for the people in thier care. the people who live there enjoy having help with bathing, dressing, remembering thier medications, and not having to worry about cooking. they have someone to make sure they have activities to keep them busy. at the home I worked at they have a group of preschoolers who come in one morning a week to sing to them and interact with them. at halloween they have a big trick-or -treat bash. the residents sit outside thier rooms  and pass out candy to the children who walk by. I have seen residents who are paralyzed  sitting there with bowls of candy in thier laps and BIG grins on thier faces because they get to participate. How is this wrong?

  8. if they are purposely doing it.. one day ther children's will show them the heaven....

  9. I have worked in nursing homes. I wouldn't want to be in one. But for some there is no alternative. Some people put their parents in a nursing home because they are afraid they won't be able to take care of them at home. I would urge them to at least give it a try. If they cannot handle it themselves, maybe try hiring someone to come in and help. If, after a genuine attempt to make it work, they are unable to provide adequate care, then maybe the parents would be better off in a nursing home or an assisted living facility. It's worth a try if only for the parents to come to the realization that their children are incapable of providing the care and companionship they need. Lots of people say they don't want to be a burden because they really don't want to be a burden, but what they don't say is that they wish their families didn't think it was a burden to have them around. I love my parents. Although it wouldn't be an ideal situation, I would not hesitate to have them live in my home. After all, they allowed me to live in theirs for 18 straight years and sporadically for several years after that. I know that they would take me in if I needed a place to stay. Not all families love each other, some parents are not loving, some children aren't either. As for punishment, you could always spend their inheritance and leave them with the monthly bill from the nursing home.

  10. They must die in the most horrible and painful way.

  11. Are you serious? As long as the extra care (a home) is truly medically necessary, and the kid isn't just dumping them there and taking off to leave the parents to rot and die, what is wrong with it? Elderly people often need the extra help as they become more medically frail. While it might be ideal for kids to be able to have the parents come live with them, it sure isn't that common to have the means to do so. That would require extra space, often times redoing the whole house to become accessible (wheelchair ramps, wider doorways to accomodate wheelchairs, hand rails in the bathrooms, etc.) It would also require somebody to be home, and if you are working it is pretty hard to be there to help out a parent who needs the help. The parent may be on important medications that need to be properly administered and sometimes the parents need help with this...Or maybe they need help bathing, dressing, getting in and out of bed, cooking...the list goes on. These are just SOME of the reasons why elderly people sometimes do best in a "home". And what about if the elderly person has Alzheimer's disease? Then having them live with you has the added concern of them taking off and getting lost or hurt. Many nursing homes or assisted living places cater specifically to Alzheimer's patients, including having a gated grounds and alarms on the doors to alert staff to wandering patients. It is for their SAFETY.

Nursing homes and assisted living facilities can be very nice if you do your research. They often have wonderful full-time activity staff who plan multiple activities a day, including cooking, crafts, 1:1 visits, music events, gardening, outings into the community, and more.

Ugh I could go on and on. I recognize that there are some worthless pieces of c**p who "dump" their parents somewhere and never worry about it again - but if you are a caring person, you research and choose the facility carefully, and you continue to visit frequently, maybe take them for outings now and then, and even bring them to your house for holidays or special visits if possible - then what is the harm?

  12. I guess I don't see what is wrong with putting your parents in a good nursing home. I am an only child and my parents are divorced. There is no way they are both going to move into my house with their new spouses and all get along. That would be a terrible idea. If we take them in, we should take in my husband's parents, and their spouses... so now I am running a mini-nursing home with 8 residents who don't get along... except my husband and I will both be at work during the day, so now we have 8 people home alone with no one to provide their medical needs. I think a nursing home sounds like a better plan. Then they can socialize and have proper medical care.

  13. i don't want to be a burden to my kids if they put me in a nice home that'll be fine! i want them to enjoy their lives, as long as they visit me regular i'll be happy to see them happy!

  14. They should be put in foster homes and if they are over 18 all their parents money should not be given to them at all but to the parents themselves for medical help and all of the stuff that the parents wont be able to use anymore like their house should be sold so that those kids wont be able to get anything of their parents.

  15. Well...

In some cases a retirement home/nursing home is best for their parent.

I think the true punishment is if their mother/father goes into one and they never bother to keep track of them. Then they die and its too late.

  16. see the punishment should be very severe

alredy almighty had set an punishment fior this people

    the punishments are

they will lose sleep , peace,,their children will not resect and obey them , their society will ill treat them

and they will in the form that they have food to eat but he cant take that

they wll die very miserable death

    it only for world

bt from my side he/she should be beheaded as talibans do to americans

in front of public so that no one will dare to let their parents in old age homes

they shd think that if their parents had abanded them ibn their childhood now wat was their future

nothing  they would have begging on the roads or in the prostitution

  17. helllo who ever u r thanks for this question i like some one is taking care about this topic, the people who do this we should prefer that the parents of this kind of childern should be strick and should not allow to met them till their  last breath and the same thing  be done by their children because as small children will see they will do the same

pls i m sorry if i said something wrong

  18. If we expect love and care from our children, it will be our foolishness. Just give maximum love and care to our children and be safe ourselves for the future. If the children brought up in a good culture and love, there will be chances to be cared by them.....or else we will be a waste for them.

.       In most countries in the Europe and US, the government will look after the senior citizen of their country. The government get money for from the tax payees....and the money and help rotates..

.        But a country like India get tax a lot but the government is not responsible for a senior citizen's shelter or food or life.He has to be look after by their children or suffer in old age homes run by charitable societies or by government(but it is the worst life in India)

.         So whom do you punish......? The old parents who had never given love to their children...? or Children who never know to give back them love...? or the irresponsible government....? or the nonsense politicians who shout for these idiot ministers who will never care the life of the Indians....? You tell the answer..

  19. i would never put my parent in a home i look at it this way they looked after me from the minute i was born when i was ill  or going though problems at school and though my marriage.if my children put me in a home i would cut them out of my life

  20. well  could youlook after someone who isn't capable of doing anything for themselves. I'm a nurse and its a lot f*ckin harder than people think!

  21. well what made the children to come to such a decision at the end of the day how much torture they must have suffered from their parents jt after which made them to come to such a decision  parents must behave in a way that the children that them as a rollmodel, ina way that theeir children think proud of them, the ways that makes them happy on the thought of their parents, NOT IN THE WAY THAT THEY GET IRRITATED,HATRED, THEIR UNLOVING BEHAVIOUR IN THEIR LIFE. no human being is that much volgure to their parents. they are their first love. but some parents changes thos love into hatred by  the way the behave to their children.

    NOW ,

WHAT PUNISHMENT SHOULD BE GN TO PARENTS WHO FORCE THIR CHILDREN TO TAKE SUCH DECISION?

  22. put0 them in h**l. i thought only here in the uk people do that, but im shocked to see this is happening in india,  but don't worry,   the same and  even worse will happen to those who do not look after their parents.  mum&dad give their whole life to their kids, and when they need someone with them, they go and leave them in homes.  if anyone reading this has left their parents in homes, then u should be ashamed of your self.  go and learn something from your old parents, do something before its too late. life is too short don't waste time, be with them always. by doing this u too will be always happy. BELIEVE ME, don't neglect them.

  23. That they, too, get abandoned by their children and left to rot when they get old.

  24. My grandparents worked hard so they could support themselves.  They wouldn't want to be a burden on anyone.
