  1. Do you have a 6 1/2 week old or month old puppy. You did not finish your sentence. I would take both of your dogs off of the Pedigree. Pedigree may look to you like it's good for your dogs digestive system. It's not! It's garbage, along with all the rest of every food, that is sold in Grocery Stores or stores like Walmart. All of those foods are basically "Road Kill"! Foods like Pedigree, Purina, Eukanuba, Iams, Kibbles and Bits, Beneful, Alpo, Mighty Dogs, Caesar, etc... You need to get a higher quality food, like Canidae All Life Stages. It's made for All Stages of a dogs life, from puppies to senior dogs. You can feed both of your dogs this food, and when your puppy becomes and adult, you won't have to worry about switching his food from puppy food to adult food. You can stay with the Canidae! I feed it to my dogs, it has much healthier ingredients, you will have less vet visits, I have never had any problems with the food, my dogs love it and it's healthier for them. It's also reasonably priced, for such a high quality food. Here is some info on it, because Canidae is not sold in a lot of stores. If you go to this site:

    http://www.canidae.com/dogs/all_life_sta...

Go to the Store Locater Link here:

    http://www.canidae.com/company/storeloca...

In the space provided, type in the city you live in, and it will bring up a list of stores in your area, that carry Canidae!

Here are some other peoples opinions on Canidae!

    Hope this helps!

ADD: Just so you can get an idea of how deceiving companies that sell foods like Pedigree and the others really are, here is an article, that tells you exactly what goes into that garbage food. It's really disgusting! After you read this article, you will know why I would NEVER, feed this trash to my dogs!!!! It's really scary to know, that so many people are just so unaware, of what is really in the food they are feeding their dogs, and I feel sorry for the poor dogs, who don't have any other choice, than to eat this disgusting trash food!

  2. James Wellbeloved and Purina Pro Plan selects is the only good foods I could find in the UK. If I lived in the UK, I'd just go ahead and feed a raw diet. There are pretty much no good quality foods there.

I would reccomend Canidae ALS but I don't think they ship to the UK

  3. you are right to switch her food. pedigree, like all other grocery brands, is terrible food. i feed my dog Natural Balance, she likes it and has not had any digestion problems since i switched from eukanuba a few years ago. recently i was at the pet store talking with a dog nutritionist who said she recommends Natural Balance and Wellness. there are some other good foods too, but be careful, the supposedly "premium" brands like Iams, Eukanuba, Science Diet, etc. all contain animal by-products. stick with the natural, holistic foods and she shouldn't have problems digesting anymore. =)

  4. I would switch from Pedigree also.  Look for food that is low in carbs.  No grain food.  Timberwolf - www.timberwolforganics.com

    Wellness, Eagle Pack etc.

  5. i reccomend iams weve used for years and have never had any problems

  6. I think Proplan is available in the UK... I could be wrong.  Pick the puppy food for the right sized dog.

It's great food, well balanced and has the right nutrients for puppies to grow.  I know a few breeders that use proplan.  It's not too expensive, and they use tocopherols (a type of vitamin E) to preserve the food, not the harmful preservatives that Pedigree uses.

A round-bellied puppy is OK, but if she's fat, you want to cut back on the amount she eats.
