  1. POKEMON TOYIEZ THAT GO HACHA

  2. An NVQ 3 or the diploma will do it at the moment, but there are discussions going on at the moment suggesting that nursery's should be run by early years TEACHERS. This requires a degree. A new early years degree course is available now. You could also do a Foundation degree in early years with the open university.

You said you wanted to open your own Nursery, this is different to managing a Nursery on behalf of another organisation so dont forget you will need some business studies aswell, ,or at least a good working knowledge of.

    Good luck

  3. The Nvq3 is supposedly equivelant to a CACHE Diploma in Nuresery Nursing.

The difference being that the diploma is a little more full on!

The NVQ3 is generally done as you work in your setting whereas the diploma is so many weeks in placement and so many in college.

The diploma also covers a very wide range of placements and the NVQ3 I think covers 2.Baby 0-2 and pre school2-5.

Good luck in whatever you decide to do...There is also the option of the B-TECH.Contact your Local Authority and find out which one would suit you best.

  4. CCLD NVQ level 4 really, this gives you the basic child care training and also the managerial skills needed to run a nursery.

  5. I think the NVQ 3 would be more suitable. You should then consider doing your 4 once you have a post in a management position.

  6. NVQ three at the moment, ( i think a level 3 is a diploma ) but both the managers at my nursery are now doing their NVQ 4, which is the degree, i think, or equivalent to. To do a level 4, you need to be in a management position, so a level three will do, but you also need to have experience working with the children first.

  7. Unlimited patent's and ear plugs

  8. It depends on the state you live in. Every state has different qualifications. If you need college classes, a counselor at the college can help.

  9. At the moment you only need to have NVQ 3 or equivalent, but in the future I can see managers needing a level 4, so if you have experience in child care, it may be worth looking into the 4. You also need to have at least 2 years experience working in childcare. Qualifications alone, without appropriate skills and experience are not enough for the manager

It is also useful to have managerial experience and qualifications.

  10. NVQ 3 Childcare... I'm setting up as a childminder in my own home, all i need is unit one homebased childcare, crb checked, ofsted checked, basic food hygiene and first aid, plus you can earn up to £40K a year-----and theres less risk if your business doesn't work out.
