  1. You are definately going to need A-A* in nearly all you GCSE's and then A's at A levels in Biology and Chemistry and good results in any other.

Medicine is a competitive course and the pupils who get the best results in the country apply for it.

Your going to have to have some other extra curicular activities as thats what they like to see. you have to be able to offer them something. be a star rugby player or an amateur dramatist.

  2. Penisula Medical School-

    GCSES

Students are required to achieve a minimum of seven GCSE passes at grades A-C and must include English Language and Mathematics.

    A LEVELS

A typical offer is 370-400 points from a maximum of four A/AS levels. At least 320-340 points must come from three full GCE A level subjects. This should include at least one science (Biology, Chemistry or Physics) and preferably one non-science subject. A grade A in a GCE A Level science subject and minimum C grades in all A/AS subjects must be achieved. All subjects are potentially acceptable but A level subjects should not overlap, e.g. Maths and Further Maths. General Studies at GCE A/AS level is not included within any offer. This offer is not necessarily the threshold for selection for interview, which may vary depending on the number of applications received by the School.
