  1. A degree in philosophy or related subject. Teachers are so scarse for some subjects that anyone with an interest teaches them. As long as you stay one step ahead of the students in the syllabus then you are teaching it. At my school the Health and social care teacher also teaches philosophy and her degree is in Maths! By the way her results are very good!


  2. I would imagine a bachelor's degree in philosophy and then a PGCE (post graduate certificate of education).
