What qualifications do i have to have to teach in Canada?

I am aware that there are different standards for each area and i am specifically looking at Ontario. I have just completed a degree in illustration and am going on to do a PGCE. I would really like to teach Primary school but am not sure what qualifications to do, i don't want to do an english qualification and then find out i can't use it out there. Does anybody know? I would be really greatful.

Try asking at the Canadian embassy. They'll be best placed to advise you.

talk to someone who advises for the BEd students at the schools you want to go to, maybe e-mail them or call or set up an interview
