What qualifications do you need to be a kindergarten teacher in Texas?

I am currently a teacher at a daycare and I have current qualifications in smart start for teachers. What other qualifications to I need to get to be a kindergarten teacher? Do I need to go to university or can I do an online course for a degree or bachelors? What courses do I need to take?

You'll need to get your Bachelor's through an approved program. Although you might be able to take some courses online, you'll have to do student teaching and things like that where'll you'll have to go to an actual university. You'll just take the courses that are required for your degree in elem ed or early childhood ed.
