None that you could get legally. I think you've got to do your 'bit' for the party ie delivering leaflets, sealing envelopes, making the tea etc. Next thing is to worm your way into the clique. Depending how devious you are you may get selected by the party to stand at a local election. You will also have to stand in front of your mirror for countless hours, practicing to be a bare faced liar. Next step is to get as far away from reality as possible, forget your roots and aspire to be a total w**ker. Your nearly there, smarminess is also a pre-requisite to get you higher in the party. To get to the top you have to back stab, lie, coerce, cajole and acquire some sort of sexual deviation. There you go, simple as that.

None. All you need is the will, enough for your deposit (£500 I believe) and the ability to convince the electorate you are the best one to represent them in parliament.  

You also have to be a British citizen or citizen of a commonwealth country or the Republic of Ireland. You have to be nominated by 10 of the electorate in the constituency you intend to stand in.

Certain categories of people cannot stand for election, for example anybody serving a prison sentence or detained under the Mental Health Act.

You will need to be a smooth enough liar to persuade a constituency party, frequently a gathering of fools, to adopt you.

It helps to be a member of the Oxford mafia in both the Tory and the Labour parties, and to be a protege (typically a minor political employee, researcher or other yes-person) of a member of the inner circle helps even more.

Above all, you need to be devoid of principle or decency.

No formal qualifications are necessary. But you must be a citizen (British Subject) and will need enough money to pay the Deposit and to mount a campaign, but nowhere near the sums involved in an American election. You will also need sponsors to support your application.

That's why more candidates stand when supported and sponsored by an established political party instead of being Independent.

Normal physical qualifications to get into the Military Police used to include abilities like climbing a rope without using your legs, and some sort of natural agressiveness such as they test the Paras for by setting the recruits to 'milling'.  (beating each other up to see who goes at it hardest).   You will need to have a willingness to inflict physical punishment on those you encounter, and be prepared to accept the officially sanctioned role of playground bully.  You should also be able to drive, or prepared to learn because you may be required to direct traffic.
