You need to have a class C license.  You have to pass a MTO medical.  And you need to be one of the fortunate to get hired.  

It is not as easy as one thinks to get into city bus driving.  A good starting point would be to get your class B license and drive a school bus for a year.  The companies that hire school bus drivers will actually train you.  

The hiring personnel for city bus lines look for people with bus driving experience before they consider people with just class A or D licenses. And they will not hire you if you don't already have your class C.  Class G licensed drivers won't even make it to the pre-hire written test session.
