What qualifications do you need to start in the webdesigning bussiness?

Im a student at collage ive finished a BTEC First Deploma in ICT PRACTITIONERS im now gona be startin a BTEC National Deploma In Gaming and Web Design but what i would like to know is after this course how would i be able to get into a job in designing web sites

The industry of web design is booming at a rapid rate considering the fact that social networking sites are mushrooming every day.I would say the chances to get a job in that industry are very good.Don't worry, you've made a good decision.

As part of your resume, you will have to state what sorts of websites or games you developed as part of your classwork, what you have done to design your own website, any other work/previous experience you have.  If you do not have live websites to list, if you are interviewed, you will have to bring samples of your work, screenshots, etc. and let the prospective know in your cover letter that you have samples of your work to bring to an interview.
