1.) Compassion (caring)

2.) Respect (self and for others equally)

3.) Humility (knows they are always a student first)

4.) Courage (goes beyond their fears)

5.) Tenacity (doesn't quit)

6.) Discipline (self and in the general)

7.) Concentration (focus)

There are more, but those are the big ones.  Notice how skill isn't on the list.
