What qualities should a muslim girl look for in a muslim future spouse?

I would look for the following: (very serious)

1. Shia Muslim (ja3fari)

2. Same country

3. Finished university ( wish he is a layer)

4. Fears God (not necessarilyy religious though)

5. Respectful gentle man

6. We love each other

7.Taller than me.

8. Has a bigger shoe size.

9.Older than me 1-3 years (no way younger in 1 sec and I am very serious.)

10. umm loads more

depending on how traditional the family, the marriage would be arranged so it will be the parents who hold concern for his qualities as a spouse, the girl should not need to worry.

first is religion:

his beliefs; how he practices; taqwa; sincerity in it etc.

2nd is character:

how he deals with others, or would deal with a wife etc.

3rd

if its a good match between the two family or not (not compulsory.. but good to)

then the rest is your choice.  

I.e.  appearance, profession, hobby etc.

If you ask me, eventhough the religion comes first... it doesn't mean I'd choose the one most practicing, but rather the one with proper belief and practice aaaaand good character,

because one might be very strictly practicing the deen but not the best in character.  

if you choose character and not the religion, he won't give you rights given to you by Allah.  So both are very important!!!
