Why, if your job was to do what was in his best interest, would you not have supported my in my recovery and taken my request for parenting supports and community supports more seriously? Why were you so quick to judge me as "just another stupid teen mom"? Why were you not able to see that I would do WHATEVER it took to keep Justin safe?

That's a tough one...  I can think of three just sitting here...

To my natural father:  "Are you willing to have contact with me?"

To George W. Bush:  "Do you at least understand the concerns others have raised for your war in Iraq?"

To God:  "Why?"

My son's 1st mother.  I'd like to know "why" - why all the children placed for adoption; why no prenatal care; why she hates this child so much.  Just so that someday I can answer his questions openly and honestly without bashing her or seeming jaded.  I just don't understand how to put his experience into words when he asks.

Edit:  My comment about "hating" the child is not an assumption - so before anyone starts getting upset - I don't assume that since the child was adopted, she hates him. It is because of what she did or didn't do to him that causes me to believe that.

I would ask my birth mother why she refused to tell me who my birth father was....I really can't have that question answered now because she passed away.
