  1. why do you think you would be an asset to the company?

    do you have previous retail experience?

    have you ever been involved in theft?

    ( they may do a backround check )

    how would you handle a rude customer

    what would you do if you saw a problem arising between a customer and associate?

    what would you do if you saw me stealing? ( manager )

    what is more important paper work, stock, or customer service?

    have you ever had register/deposit shortages or overages?

    do you think if you are over/short one dollar and you take 20 minutes to find the mistake it was worth it?

    what style of manager are you?> delegate or a do-er

    if you had three people on your shift where would you place them?>

    have you ever had a problem with a former manager?

    problem with former co worker

    least favorite thing about past job

       these are a few questions i would ask my assistants - remember to look the interviewer in the eye, if they look away do not look where they are looking - you are looking for a career in this Field not a job to get by, while you need a job to support yourself this is something you can see yourself enjoying and doing in the far future

    do you like cheap and nasty clothes like  this shop sells
