Does your family have a history of high blood pressure or other medical problems?

Stuff like that. :-)

these are the things i can remember i went about 2 weeks ago, my mum wanted to take me !!!!! so yeah was a lil scary but not that bad!!!

The biggest thing they want to know is why you want the pill.  If it's because you're sexually active, he or she will then make sure you know that the pill alone doesn't cut it--you can still get all the STI/STDs including AIDS while on the pill.  There are also factors for side effects (smoking, being sedentary, family history) that need to be looked into.  Finally, if they're a good doctor, there'll probably be a bit of counseling type talk just to make sure that if you want it because you're sexually active, you're making good decisions regarding with whom and how you're doing so.
