  1. Check the laws where you live - I don't think the term "moped" will apply to anything over 50cc. In many states (including CT, where I live), a 100 cc scooter or whatever would legally be a motorcycle and would have to be insured and registered as such, whereas a 50cc moped or scooter does not, it only requires the rider has a standard drivers license. You would also need a motorcycle license if the unit in question is registered as a motorcycle

If your laws are different and/or you don't care, get the 100cc, it will keep up with traffic around town, a 50cc usually tops out around 30 mph on a flat road (so you need to keep right like a bicycle)

    hope this helps

  2. Ask:  "How long is the hospital stay when I break my neck on this dangerous vehicle?"

  3. a 100 CC is better because by the time you get used to your 50 cc you will get bored with it and 100 cc you will get your money's worth. make sure you know what you are getting. compare brands and see what fits you the best. honda, kawasaki, ect. make sure you know the gas mileage and stuff like that.

  4. well 100cc is deffinitly better, but you might want to ask questions regarding top speed, if it is street legal, can it be taken away by the cops, has it been damaged before, and questions like that.
