  1. Everything above is great.  I would also put together a portfolio of ideas you would like to do with the kids.  Start a folder and just show the interviewer some of the things you found on the internet.  Good luck!

    *They will ask about behavior management and how you would deal with different situations. Go to Dr. Mac's Amazing Behavior  Management website to get some ideas. Even if they don't ask this, it will prepare you for the job.

    *They will want information on any college work you have done and any formal training in child development.

    *They may ask how you would arrange children for instruction or for story reading.

    *They may ask you about plans for your future, like if you plan to stay with them for awhile.

    *They may ask if you have any questions for them. Be sure you do. Ask about how many children you will be responsible for , the age groups, policies and procedures within the organization. Don't go on for an hour, but have a few questions.
