What questions will the american embassy ask me during an interview for a non-immigrant visa?

Hello,

I have received a placement from a hotel in USA precisely in IDAHO. I live in Mauritius and i have an interview at the embassy this week. Can someone please tell me what questions can they ask me?

I've never been through this (although I did have a roommate who had a fiance from mauritius.)

I would expect you to be asked about your criminal history, reasons for wanting to work in the states, work history, family, and I'd expect a LOT of questions.

Dress well, look confident, and dont' let them intimidate you!
