What "Boo" Means?? ?

I´ve heard this word a lot in black music... like:

i got see you Boo i wanna see you Boo or

You´re my boo...

what this word means?? (I am from Brazil and i studying English)

The word Boo usually is way of saying you're my girlfriend or boyfriend. It is usually in 'black music' and it's not really English (it is ebonics -- language created by blacks).

Stick to the English that is in your textbooks. That is more proper.

first the song is called ''with you'' by chris brown,yes,he is black.

second boo,is a ctually a french word ''beau'' which means handsome,but for some reason black men like to call their ladies this,which happened to evolve to BOO.:] good like in studying english.

One, it's not called "black music". Music does not have a color and there is no genre that I know of that is called "black music".

I guess it's a term of endearment. Similar to the word dear, honey, baby...that kind of thing.
