    In the context, it refers more specifically to "consensus estimates" by analysts in big firms/ banks at Wall Street (Wall Street being not necessarily a reference to the physical place)

  3. "Wall Street" or "The Street" means the investment profession.

    The New York Stock Exchange is located at 11 Wall Street in New York.  Thus, "Wall Street" continues in use even though most financial firms are not there, most trading is done electronically, not on the exchange floor and the biggest financial market in the world is in Chicago (Chicago Mercantile Exchange changed it's name to CME Group because it does so much more than the commodities it started with.)
