What "glass ceiling has Hillary reached"?

In her speech last night in Youngstown she spoke about breaking through the glass ceiling. I'd like to know how she would know where that glass ceiling is. She's white, a former presidents wife, she's been affored a lot of oppertunites that alot of women will never have, does she think she speaks for those of us who have reached the glass ceiling, but has never been in our position?

It has opened the minds of many people to the possibility of a woman as president.  If you notice, the first black man to run for president is also half white.  The first woman to run for president is a well-known former first lady.  Things of this nature happen gradually.

I am surprised to see that sexism is even worse than racism in this country.  I wouldn't have thought that.  Apparently, even women find women in power to be dispicable.  What a shame.

Hillary Clinton would have had a fabulous career as Hillary Rodham.  She is very accomplished in her own right.  That is why she has been given so many opportunities.  You don't hear other first ladies running for office and winning.  Its because she is very qualified.  

She is a graduate of Yale.  Named in the top 100 attorneys in the country twice.  She was on the commission investigating Watergate.  That's before she married Bill.

And are you saying Obama has struggled, please give me a break, NO ONE that runs for president has REALLY struggled in at least a very long time. IF they were struggling they would not be able to afford to run. But she can empathize with the struggle of women, sure I can see that.

I think Hillary was getting very desperate after losing primaries to Barack Obama. I believe she might have used "glass ceiling" as a tactic to lure some women back to her campaign. It is true that gender inequality still exists in the United States...maybe she was just trying to rally women behind her again.

"Pardon me Hillary" is upset and needs (as always) someone else to blame, you see it just couldn't be her! that she is sure of, so it must be something else. Before it was a vast Right Wing conspiracy that was out to get her, now, well now it is this glass ceiling - imagine if she were the president - it would be the fault or caused by,someone or something else - look now at her track record. You are right she has never been in your shoes, yet if you are a murderer, anti-American, hater, she can arrange a "Pardon" for you for the right price! Now on that she has experience.
