I want going to do Soccer this Fall. I have never played soccer other than in gym at school so i don't know what 'Level' i would be in. If I'm 13 years old and new at soccer, what "Level" will i be placed in? And how do they do their "Levels"? Some info would be greatly appreciated! THX

P.S Keep in mind that im NOT in Highschool yet and im only 13 years old!

What are all of these U-10, and U-14 etc.?

  1. I don't know what it's like in America but in England you would play in an under 14 team. But as you have never played before don't go to England because you would find it hard to get in a team.

  2. probably like starters, mid leverl and advanced or maybe just starters and advanced.

i went to a camp this sumemr which had a starters and young kids camp. then a advanced camp with mostly highschoolers

and when you play in a U-10 team that means you are probbaly 9 years old and when you are in u-14 you are probably 13. pretty much you are one year younger then the team's age title

hope that helps and good luck!

  3. It all dependsin the league you're going to play. U-10 means kids under ten years of age are allowed to play in that division or level. Some leagues might have a divsion or level for every single year. (ex. U-10, U-11, U-12...) you would play U-13. Most leagues skip years for example my little brother was playing U-10 but now he moved up to U-12 were kids between the ages of 10 to 12 years are allowed to play. You're placed depending on your age  or the year you were born. Its kind of confusing but I hope you understand = )
