Question:

What "like" recipes do you have?

I would like to get some recipes of foods that are "like" the ones we eat when dining out.

some I have are taco bell and KFC spice, etc.

If you have any ones that are good and tasty, can I have them please?

  5. 1-Pork Chop

    1-Beef Spare Rip

    2-packs Italian Sweet Sausage

    2-large cans Crushed Tomatoes

    1-Large can on Tomato Sauce

    1-Large can of Whole Tomato -(squeeze with your hands in Bowl)

    2-TBLS oregano

    2-TBLS basil

    2-TBLS italian spice

    3-bay leaves

    4-6 slivers of garlic ( chop up )  -- not entire cloves of garlic

    1-onion ( Brown )  chop up

    Olive oil

    --------------------------------------...

    In large pot - Coat bottom with olive oil and heat MED

    Then add just the Meat and brown on all sides until the jucies start to mix with olive oil.

    ADD chopped Onion until it starts to soften  3-4 min

    Then Mix

    ADD garlic 1-min

    Then Mix

    ADD all your cans of Tomatos

    Then Mix

    ADD spices and let simmer on med with NO TOP for 2-3 hours  but make sure you stir it often. If you leave the pot top on it will get to watery.

      

    Then Serve over pasta  .... garenteed you will impress

    2 baking potatoes (1 1/2 pounds), peeled and shredded

    Salt

    3 tablespoons butter, cut into small pieces, plus more for toast

    1/2 cup shredded carrots



    3/4 pound chopped corned beef

    1/2 cup cream or half-and-half

    Freshly ground pepper

    4 extra-large eggs, cooked any way you like

    4 slices lightly buttered white toast



    1. Place the potatoes in a colander, lightly salt them and let drain for a few minutes.

    2. In a large nonstick skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Mix in the potatoes, carrots and corned beef and increase the heat to medium-high. Set a plate on top and weight it down with a heavy can. Stir in the crust that forms about every 5 minutes. Cook until the potatoes are tender, about 15 minutes. Stir in the cream and turn off the heat. Season to taste with pepper.

    3. Top the hash with the cooked eggs and serve with the toast.
