  1. no

  2. I don't think so:

004.157 That they said (in boast), "We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah";- but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not:-

    Al-Qur'an, 004.157 (An-Nisa [Women])

    TO Palestinian Muslima N Proud:

Where does it say that? There are many probabilities.

    IQFactor:

It doesn't say "you caused me to die". The Arabic words are "Tawaffaytany" which can also means "you returned me" as it is obvious in this verse:

006.060 It is He who doth take your souls by night (Yatawaffakum), and hath knowledge of all that ye have done by day: by day doth He raise you up again; that a term appointed be fulfilled; In the end unto Him will be your return; then will He show you the truth of all that ye did.

    Al-Qur'an, 006.060 (Al-Anaam [Cattle, Livestock])

  3. EDIT:

@Otherside - Hazrat Ahmad (as) declared with certainty that Isa (as) has died based on the Holy Qur'an and Hadeeth.  If you have the courage to refute his arguments, please do so.  I can send them to you.

However my brother, all you have done is call him and all those who accept him a Kafir, without ever having the courage to respond to his arguments based on the Qur'an and the Hadeeth.  May Allah be your guide.

The Qur'an is very clear that Isa (as) has already died.  Below is just one small proof of it.

I said nothing to them except that which Thou didst command me – ‘Worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord’. And I was a witness over them as long as I remained among them, but since Thou didst cause me to die, Thou, hast been the Watcher over them, and Thou art Witness over all things’” (5:117-118).

Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as) writes, “If anyone can cite a single instance from the Holy Quran or Hadith, or from ancient or modern Arabic poetry and prose, that the word Tawwaffi, when applied to a human being, God being the subject, has been used in any connotation other than death and taking possession of the soul, for instance, in the connotation of the taking the body, I bind myself on oath that I shall pay that person one thousand rupees in cash by selling some of my property and shall always hold him in high esteem as a great scholar of the Holy Qur’an and Hadith.” (Izala-e-Auham, Ruhani Khazain, Vol. III, p. 603)

Checking every page of Bukhari, Muslim, Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah, Nisa’i, Darimi, Muwatta, and Sharh-us-Sunnah, tawwaffi has been used 346 times and NOT ONCE has the Holy Prophet (saw), a Sahaba, or another human used the word tawwaffi to mean anything other than death.

Imam Bukhari has named a chapter “Babo Tawwaffiyo Rasool-ullahi Sallallaho Alaihi wa Salaam,” in which Prophet Muhammad (saw), on the authority of Hazrat Ibn Abbas (ra), has used the same words of Jesus Christ (as) in the above verse to describe his own death.

“On the day of Qiyamat some people of my Ummat would be taken towards h**l. Then I shall say, ‘O my Lord! These are my companions.’ Then it would be said! ‘Thou don’t know what they innovated after thee’. Then, I shall say as the righteous servant (Jesus) said: ‘I was a witness over them as long as I remained among them, but since Thou didst cause me to die, Thou hast been the Watcher over them."  (Sahih Jami’ Bukhari, Kitabut Tafsir Vol. II p. 889; Vol. III, p. 79; Vol. XI, p. 159)

Hence, if the Prophet (sa) has died already, only then would he be able to use that verse as surely, when Isa (as) returns, he Will know what his people did.  In the above ayat, Isa (as) is pleading ignornace that he had no idea because he died.  The Prophet (sa) is likening his own fate to that of Isa's(as), i.e. death.  We know the Prophet (sa) was not taken up by any stretch of the imagination when his life ended.  We know that he died.  Hence, either we accept that they both were taken up, or they both died.  Since we know for a fact that Muhammad (sa) has died, the only conclusion we can end with is that Isa (as) too has died.

    EDIT:

    @ Dhul Qurnayn,

For starters, even if we accept your understanding in reference to the way a soul returns when someone sleeps, that is only the soul returning.  The body surely remains behind.  The Qur'an uses tawaffayni twice to mean sleep, and both times it means the soul returning, not the body.  Therfore, at best, Isa (as) spiritually ascended to heaven, not physically.  Furthermore, the Prophet (sa) himself made clear that Isa (as) has died.  Surely he knew better than any other human.

The Prophet (sa) was very clear that Isa (as) has died. This is recorded in several Hadeeth. The first Hadeeth below is recorded in several books.

    “May the curse of God be on the Jews and the Christians who made the graves of their prophets into places of worship.” (Sahih Jami Bukhari, Vol. I, Book 8 #427; Vol. II, Book 23, #414, 472; Vol. IV, Book 56, #660; Vol. V, Book 59, #725, 727; Vol. VII, Book 72, #706); (Sahih Jami’ Muslim, Ch. 47, Book 4, #1079-1083);

The only Prophet specific to Christianity is Isa (as). If Isa (as) did not die, then why would the Prophet (sa) say that he has a grave?

Furthermore, the Prophet (sa) likens the Jewish Prophets to the Christian Prophets. Since we further know that all Jewish Prophtes have died, and the Prophet (sa) is comparing them to Christian prophets (i.e. Isa(as)), then we know both have died and they have graves that were worshipped by their people.

Here is another very important Hadeeth.

When a delegation of 60 men from the Christian people of Najran came to Prophet Muhammad their chief priest discussed the status of Jesus Christ and asked who was his father?

Prophet Muhammad (sa) replied, “Do you not know that a son resembles his father?” They said, “Yes.” He replied, “Do you not know that our Lord is living and He will never die, whereas Jesus has ALREADY DIED (A lastum ta’lamuna anna rabbana la yamutu wa anna Isa ata ‘alaihil fana)

(Asbab al Nazul, by Imam Abul Hasan Ali bin Ahmad al-Wahidi of Neshapur, published in Egypt, p.53)

    Here is another Hadeeth.

During his last illness, the Holy Prophet (saw) said to his daughter Hazrat Fatima (ra), “Once in every year, Gabriel recited the Quran to me. This year he recited twice. He also told me that every succeeding prophet has lived to half the age of his predecessor. He told me that Jesus, son of Mary, lived to 120 years. Therefore, I think, I may live to about 60 years.” (Mawahib-ud-Duniya by Qastalani, Vol. I, p. 42); (Kanzul Ummal, Vol. VI, p. 120, 160 from Hazrat Fatima (ra)); (Hujjaj al-Kiramah, p. 428); (Hakam)

Tabarani says regarding this Hadith, “Its narrations are reliable, and it is reported in a number of different versions.” Moreover, Hazrat Ayesha (ra), Hazrat Fatima (ra), and Hazrat Ibn Umar (ra) all related it.

Here is yet another Hadeeth. The Prophet (sa) said:

“Had Jesus been alive he would have had to follow me.” (Sharh Fiqh Akbar, Egyptian Ed., p. 99)

love for all, hatred for none

  4. No, coz in the Quran, it also says that Allah swt sent someone who looks just like him. Esa As isnt dead

  5. Allaah tells us in the Quraan,

((And because of their saying, "We killed the Messiah 'Eesaa, son of Maryam, the Messenger of Allaah,'' but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but it appeared as that to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts. They have no (certain) knowledge, they follow nothing but conjecture. For surely; they killed him not.))

And this error is a fundamental error in 'Aqeedah regarding the Prophets and Messengers. It is well-known that Islaam does not affirm the death of 'Eesaa ibn Maryam عليه السلام
