There are many wonderful spots in the Southwest of Ireland. The Muckross House gardens are breath-taking. For a bit of a haunted feel, try Kanturk Castle http://mccarthy.montana.com/Articles/Kan...

Go to Blarney Castle, but why kiss the stone--all that gets you is the gift of gab, instead, walk the grounds with all the druidic ruins.

For great prices (far better than the ones in town), go to the Kerry Woolen Mills.

And if good-hearted Irish dance and music is your cup of tea, try going to the Kilcorney Feis in late May.

Great place is Ireland and well worth your time!
