What r the difficulties in sending low frequency analog signal?

by the radiation theory the antenna height must be quarter wavelength of the signal.therefore the low frequency carrier signals are modulated with high frequency carrier signal and then transmitted.but the low frequency signal cannot be used for long distance communication.

Antenna has to be very large or long.

Data rate is very low

Receiving antenna also has to be very long or high
