okay , i have summer work cuz i am entering high school so ... in my homework i didnt understand thses statements:

1." i was having a grand time,having died."

2."at such times, one's whole body is eye,and common skill and fortitude are replaced by power beyond our call or knowledge"

and wat evidence can you find that supports number 2's opinion?

  1. 1.) It's saying how they enjoyed dying, how their life could not possible compare to their afterlife.  

    2.) It's saying that despite levels of education, whether one is an informed member of society or not, one is able to be a powerful member of society no matter.

  3. well number two for me would mean experience in life, as in the more you live the more you go through and the more knowledge you acquire from having lived through that, and for evidence to support it you can use a life example of somethign you went through and learned something from it

  7. In #1, whoever says that is being sarcastic.

    In #2, a metaphor is used meaning that whenever one endures a hard time in life, he depends on his sight and is very alert and he thinks he possesses special powers which he does not have.

    It sounds kind of like whoever those statements are describing suffered a mental breakdown. He is paranoid and grandiosely delusional. I hope this helps! Good luck!
