  1. I think, students are the one dumping rubbish in where ever they go. Say for example from the lift to play ground to cinema hall. You name it any place they are there to pollute it. The next day some migrant worker comes and cleaning every thing they dropped. It continues every day, because, in school and in home they are not educated about the benefits of dumping the rubbish in the rubbish bin.

As a student, they can organise a social group and bring like minded people. Once they got the numbers, they should be informed about how the pollution s taking place, what are the things polluting, who are the people doing it, which are the place prone to pollution. After identifying the basic nifty gritty, it is better they have a theme to market their ideas. Apart from that where ever they see Rubi's they should remove it and dump it in proper place. They can do this every day or once a week. They can also take over one particular area and clean it and maintain it. They should also ask other people particularly, the ones who pollute, to come out with sum idea. This way they are softly bringing those people in to their hold.

This is not easy, but students can do it, because they got the energy.

  2. they can go home and force their parents to clasify the trash from the household and to make a compost heap for all of the organic waste ,this is responsible for 70% of contamination in landfills ,

and they can plant a tree every week ,if everybody did ,the suburbs would be more pleasent and it would make a difference to the general Environment.

  3. The best place for any individual who wants to do something to stop pollution to start is at home. Think of ways to save electricity and water. Think of ways to reduce the amount of packaging you buy when shopping for food. Reuse a shopping bag as many times as you can. The next step is to contact some local organization that is trying to help the environment and join in their activities, for example by picking up trash alongside a river or by signing petitions. Also think about your transportation style  - can you walk, bicycle or use public transport or carpooling instead of driving a car by yourself? Once you start thinking about these things, many new ideas for controlling pollution will occur to you, like collecting recyclables at your school and finding a use for them.

  4. Take the school buses instead of driving.
