Question:

What race is strongest?

Whenever I get a package of plain M&Ms, I make it my duty to continue the strength and robustness of the candy as a species. To this end, I hold M&M duels.

Taking two candies between my thumb and forefinger, I apply pressure, squeezing them together until one of them breaks and splinters. That is the "loser," and I eat the inferior one immediately. The winner gets to go another round.

I have found that, in general, the brown and red M&Ms are tougher, and the newer blue ones are genetically inferior. I have hypothesized that the blue M&Ms as a race cannot survive long in the intense theater of competition that is the modern candy and snack-food world.

Occasionally I will get a mutation, a candy that is misshapen, or pointier, or flatter than the rest. Almost invariably this proves to be a weakness, but on very rare occasions it gives the candy extra strength. In this way, the species continues to adapt to its environment.

  1. you have far too much free time :)

I love the fact that you actually mailed the "winning" M&M back to the company.

Even better they wrote back to you, to send you a free 1/2 lb bag!!

I wonder if that would work with other things.....

*runs out to get 2 cars to squish together*

  2. This is the most amazing game I have ever heard of. Period.

Brown, because it is true to its color to the core. All other colors are self-loathing and in denial of their true brownness.

Let us know how the battle goes!

  3. The peanut m&ms that is sometimes missing a peanut inside. Usually the yellow one seems to persevere. And it ends up being completely loaded with chocolate. I call it the atomic m&m bomb.

    Continue with your studies......McCleod!

  4. Brown.

Do you use have contests between the peanut and non-peanut species? I personally thing the peanut species is way stronger.

  5. I am going to say brown purely because in terms of people, when you mix a black person and a white person you get brown so therefor producing someone with the best of both worlds and possibly the worst but they'll be less likely to get wrinkles at a young age.
